THIS IS HUGE. You should set yourself a goal every month to spend LESS than you earn. If you can achieve this, month after month, your financial situation cannot fail to improve. There are a number of ways of doing this; you could do some traditional budgeting by writing down everything you earn and everything you spend. You could lock the credit cards away and refuse to use them for a whole month. You could take a small amount of your income and lock it away in saving every month before you get a chance to spend it. All of these will work but all of them are designed with one thing in mind - SPEND LESS THAN YOU EARN!
