The government's Universal Credit system has been blasted again by MPs.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) within the House of Commons called the scheme "extraordinarily poor" and said oversight by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) had been "alarmingly weak".

She sent the MP a copy of her school report to prove her achievements.

There are three main ways of judging the issue, and all show a downturn in the fortunes of the worst off:

Churches are having to provide help to those whose benefits have been cut, The Guardian has written.

Yesterday, Baroness Warsi, the faith minister, announced that money would be made available to multi-faith projects to deliver social services.
